apt-get install gnome-session-fallback
Install and start GDM (I choose GDM instead of lightgdm when it gave me the choice)
apt-get install gdm
if you already installed GDM ,gnome before use
dpk

metacity&
nautilus&
gnome-terminal&
Then
Reboot
