Remove item from Chrome auto-complete address bar

Google Chrome

If you accidently typed an incorrect address in your browser you may find yourself going to the wrong site from time to time. Good news, there’s an easy way to remove unwanted sites.

  1. Select the item in your address bar by typing its first few letters.
  2. Then press SHIFT and DELETE at the same time to remove the address from the list.

That’s it. The item should be removed. Simply repeat for each address you want to remove. If you have too many then you might want to consider clearing your browsing history altogether.
